WHAT IS CAMP MOVE
Five Days a Week.
Nine to Two.
All In.
Scholars spend five days a week from 9am to 2pm at The Heights Center in Goodyear Heights. Every day combines sports skill development with hands-on STEAM challenges where the math, science, and problem-solving happen inside the physical activity — not separate from it. If a Scholar is calculating angles, they are also throwing a football.
Across three weeks, each Scholar group works on a real project responding to a real community challenge. They choose their creative format. In 2025 one group invented a sport, one performed a play, and one produced a video. At the final showcase, they present their work to families, community leaders, and neighborhood partners. This is not a craft project. It is something that outlasts the summer.

"Learning happens through play and sports — not despite them."
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Three Weeks. Seven Sports. One Big Idea.
Each week builds on the last. Scholars go deeper into their project, stronger in their sport, and more confident in who they are. By Week 3 they are ready to show Goodyear Heights what they built.
Week 1 Identity
Who am I and what do I bring?
Week 2 Inquiry
What does our community need?
Week 3 Launch
We built something. Now we show it.

The Mentorship Ladder.
At Camp MOVE, every person in the building is on a path. Elementary Scholars look up at their Junior MOVE Mentor and see a middle schooler who was in their exact shoes two years ago. Junior MOVE Mentors look up at MOVE Guides and see high schoolers who used to be them. Adult mentors above them all chose to show up for this community every day.

"Using middle schoolers in leadership is pure youth development principles. That's what matters."
"He woke up before his alarm."
"My son, who is usually shy, showed noticeable excitement and independence just three days into the program. He woke up before his alarm, got dressed, and packed his lunch. I am so grateful for what Noex Sports continues to do for youth."
